They're lightweight enough to strap to a rucksack when the ice axes come out on steeper ascents and chatter-free for descending hard pack over glaciers, or freeze-thawed/windblown Scottish plateaus.
Features
- Full Dual light wood core - The Dual Light Core features a new Paulownia/beech wood core that ensures a stable, strong and well-dampened ride.
- 3Dimension Touring Sidecut - The New 3Dimension Touring Sidecut is a revolutionary design for better touring tuning. it combines a tip and tail radius with either a central flat line or a small amount of sidecut underfoot. The tip and tail radii allow for easy turn initiation while the flat line or a larger radius provides stability, power and precise edge hold.
- Factory Finish - SCOTT skis come direct from the factory ready to ski with SCOTT's Factory Finish. Factory Finish offers an effective edge angle 88, resulting from a 3 side and 1 base angle for exceptional performance. The base is finished with a micro-structured CNC stone grind so you can mount your skis and hit the hill - no tuning required.
- SCOTT Hook Skin Fixation System - The SCOTT Skin Fixation System ensures easy and fast skin attachment in all weather conditions.
Rocker Type
The SCOTT Pro-Tip Rocker 320 is part of a family of rocker profiles for a range of different conditions the 320 is first and foremost an all-terrain Profile offering versatility in all conditions so offers stability underfoot while also providing playfulness in deep snow. Pro-Tip Rocker is produced by combining a progressive shape with an increased tip height and radius creates Pro-Tip Rocker. Whatever the conditions, Scott's Pro-Tip offers a more versatile and forgiving ski.
- Increases Stability in powder and deep snow
- creates a more forgiving ski, allowing skiers to adjust turn shape
- improves ski agility and progressiveness
Construction
- Sandwich Sidewall Semi Elliptic Construction - Carbon/Aramid Fibers - Making a ski light is possibly one of the most important challenges, but keeping downhill performance is vital. This is why reinforcement has been incorporated across the length of the ski by combining Carbon/Aramid fibres along the length of the ski. Strips of carbon have also been strategically placed to increase torsional rigidity to create an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Resulting in a stable yet energetic ride in a light and quick, reliable package on the ascent but won't fail you on a well-earned descent.
