The Hydro by Palm is great for those who are looking for a versatile buoyancy aid, with plenty of storage points for your gear. The front zip makes this buoyancy aid easy to put on and remove and there are reflective details for added safety. 

Personal Floatation Devices are not the same as life jackets and will not keep someone's head above water in the event of unconsciousness. Buoyancy/floating aids are designed to keep the wearer afloat, but not to turn a person from a face/down position in the water. This level is ideal for swimmers in sheltered waters or where help is close at hand. However, they do not have sufficient buoyancy to protect a person who is unable to help themselves.
