The carbon steel XC90 blade is extremely hard, making it an excellent tool for cutting with and it has good wear resistance qualities and will re-grind quickly and easily. With its Virobloc® security system to block the blade both when it's in an open or closed position, this knife is lightweight with a beech wood handle that is also rugged and easy to work with - and when you're done, stash it away in its Alpine pouch for safe keeping.
