A lightweight, waterproof outer shell, the Men's Saltoro GORE-TEX Jacket from Mountain Equipment is perfectly equipped for mountain pursuits and fits well as part of your layering system with articulated and pre-shaped sleeves for excellent moveability, and underarm pit zips that allow you to increase air flow and ventilation. This technical jacket adopts two types of waterproof GORE-TEX, from the 2.5-layer GORE-TEX PACLITE® that is lightweight and easily packable without compromising on durability, and the 3-layer GORE-TEX reinforcements that ensure your jacket is hardwearing against constant use, particularly in the shoulders where your pack straps might sit. 

The 2-way YKK® Aquaguard® centre front zip also features an internal storm flap to keep the rain out, and 2 large YKK® zippered pockets provide plenty of space to stash mountain essentials, from snacks to maps. The adjustable cuffs fit easily over or under gloves, and the hood is also fully adjustable and can be worn whilst you are wearing a helmet.
