MINION DHF 29X2.5 3C MXGRP DD

Maxxis’s trail version of the Minion DHR II, the Minion DHF 29x2.5” 3C MaxxGrip DoubleDown MTB Tyre is built for aggressive trail riding experiences in a range of conditions – from muddy trails to loose rock gardens and downhill challenges. With its redesigned shoulder knobs widened from the original Minion DHR II design, they provide total support and grip particularly in the corners, with paddle-like centre knobs to dig in during hard braking and an overall ramped tread pattern to ensure you roll fast.

The Wide Trail size option has been optimised for inner width rims of 35mm to improve the tyre tread layout and profile but also works over a range of inner rim widths from 30-35mm so you can utilise depending on your own rider preference. The DoubleDown casing option provides enduro racers with the support and protection they need for a long stint in the saddle and a downhill performance that is lightweight, and 3C MaxxGrip technology ensures more traction and less rolling resistance to enhance your ride.

Features:

  • The trail version of the Maxxis Minion DHR II - features the same tread pattern as its downhill counterpart
  • Differs in that it utilises lighter weight casings
  • Redesigned with wider shoulder knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHR II but widened to provide more support and better cornering
  • Paddle-like centre knobs for improved braking

  • Tubeless Ready (TLR): run lower air pressures, improve traction, lower rolling resistance and less chance of flats
  • Wide Trail (WT): optimises the tyre's tread layout and profile on wider rims
  • WT tyres are optimised for a 35mm inner rim width, but are proven to work over a range between 30-35mm inner rim widths
