This set of Wired hexes, made by Black Diamond Equipment, is organized on an OvalWire carabiner. These classic, lightweight, and functional pro hexes are designed to be used in rapidly widening cracks, where other types of pro, like cams, might not work as well. With a subtly asymmetrical cross-section, flat sides, and a slight end-wise taper, they offer three different widths when turned on their axes and another when placed end-wise. These hexes are easy to rack and place in bottlenecks, and come equipped with durable, galvanised steel cables.
