The Rider vest has been designed specifically for watersports and has an easy front zip entry and is low bulk and comfortable. There is PE foam added to the back for extra support, stability and protection.
This PFD rates at a level 50 N buoyancy. Level 50 buoyancy/floating aids are designed to keep the wearer afloat, but not to turn a person from a face/down position in the water. This level is ideal for swimmers in sheltered waters or where help is close at hand. However, they do not have sufficient buoyancy to protect a person who is unable to help themselves.
